Our Polish Programme is academically strong and balanced with social and emotional development. Students can choose from a variety of profiles tailored to their interests, and take part in extra classes to explore their passions. We also prepare students for the bilingual Matura exam in English and Cambridge English exams, ensuring high quality language education. This option is perfect for those seeking a solid foundation in the Polish curriculum with the flexibility to transition into international pathways. TE Vizja is not just a Polish high school — it’s a recognised international school in Warsaw, Poland, offering multiple educational pathways.

How the programme works

Students explore all subjects at the basic level — giving them a broad foundation and time to discover their strengths and interests.

Students choose a profile and select subjects they will study in depth, at the extended level,
throughout Years 3 and 4.

PROFILES

After the first year, students can choose one of the following profiles:

  • Math & IT
  • Biology & Chemistry
  • Humanities
  • Business

We offer additional courses such as: Programming, Robotics, Science Lab, Science Project, Conversation classes with native speakers. Students can also take part in the Zwolnieni z Teorii social impact programme, where they develop leadership, creativity, teamwork, and — most importantly — real project management skills.

Bilingual education & language offer

Students are prepared for the bilingual Matura exam in English and Cambridge English exams. We also offer a second foreign language – choose from Spanish, German or French.

*Grades 1 and 2 of high school can be completed within the Polish programme (Matura). Transition to the IB or A-Levels programme is possible after finishing the Polish curriculum, provided that students pass an English language exam and meet the specific entry requirements of the school.

The Cambridge IGCSE Programme in TE Vizja is an international qualification open to all students — regardless of whether English is their first language. It’s built around core subjects, while offering a wide selection of science, humanities, and creative courses. The programme covers the first two years of high school and is designed to support students planning to study in a variety of fields — from business and medicine to arts and design, and much more. This programme is perfect for students looking for a world-class education in a multicultural environment at an international school in Warsaw, Poland.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE

Students take up to 7 subjects, combining core courses with selected electives.

After completing the IGCSE programme, students take official IGCSE exams. These open the path to further education in either the Cambridge A-Levels or the International Baccalaureate (IBDP) in Years 3 and 4.

Benefits

The Cambridge IGCSE Programme is an internationally recognised qualification that opens doors to top universities and a wide range of career paths.

It provides a strong foundation for further international programmes such as A-Levels and the IB Diploma Programme. In particular, A-Levels offer a natural progression from IGCSE, allowing students to deepen their knowledge in specific subjects in a more specialised way.

The Cambridge International A-Levels are a two-year, English-language programme for students aged 16–19, recognised by top universities around the world. Delivered in Years 3 and 4 of high school, the programme allows students to choose subjects that match their interests and future study plans — helping them grow their skills and passions.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE

Starting from September 2025, we offer a science-focused A-Levels pathway — one of the few options available for students seeking A Levels in Poland within a fully English-language environment:

  • Mathematics
  • Biology
  • Chemistry

Exams:

At the end of Year 3, students take their AS exams, which can be used as predicted grades for university applications. The programme concludes with the full A-Level exams. In science subjects, no practical exams are required — which allows students to fully focus on preparing for written assessments.

Extra opportunity

Cambridge Independent Project Qualification (IPQ):

The Cambridge IPQ is an exciting research-based qualification worth half an A-Level. It helps students develop critical thinking, analysis, evaluation, and communication skills by completing a 5,000-word research project. This qualification strengthens university applications and is highly valued by academic institutions.
